Carve Her Name with Pride 1958

Violette Bushell is the daughter of an English father and a French mother, living in London in the early years of World War 2. She meets a handsome young French soldier in the park and takes him back for the family Bastille day celebrations. They fall in love, marry and have a baby girl when Violette Szabo receives the dreaded telegram informing her of his death in North Africa. Shortly afterwards, Violette is approached to join the SOE (Special Operations Executive). Should she stay and look after her baby or "do her duty" ?

Father of the Pride is an American animated television series that began broadcasting on NBC on August 31, 2004 and was part of a short-lived trend of CGI series in prime-time network TV. The show, which was produced by Jeffrey Katzenberg and his company DreamWorks Animation, revolves around a family of white lions, the patriarch of which stars in a Siegfried & Roy show in Las Vegas. Despite heavy promotion, the show was unsuccessful and was canceled after one season. Transmission and production were also delayed by the real-life on-stage injury of Roy Horn.

The six-part series created by and starring actress, Rebel Wilson, is directed by Peter Templeman and produced by Tony Ayres and Michael McMahon. The Pride of Britain Awards is an annual event in the United Kingdom, honouring British people who have acted bravely or extraordinarily in challenging situations. The awards were founded by Peter Willis, an associate editor of the Daily Mirror, under the editorship of Piers Morgan. The first Pride of Britain Awards were held at the Dorchester Hotel, Mayfair, London in May 1999. The awards are televised on ITV and hosted by Carol Vorderman. The judging panel is made up of celebrities and well-known figures from a range of backgrounds, and has included multiple appearances by Simon Cowell, Richard Branson, Fiona Phillips, Miriam Stoppard, Sir John Stevens, Sir Magdi Yacoub, Richard Wallace, Eamonn Holmes and Ms. Dynamite, chaired from 1999 to 2004 by Piers Morgan and from 2005 to 2006 by Peter Willis. The awards are organised in association with the Daily Mirror, Lidl, ITV, Daybreak and The Prince's Trust. Winners of the Pride of Britain Lifetime Achievement Award have included; Peter Benenson, founder of the human rights organisation Amnesty International, Chad Varah, founder of the charity group the Samaritans, Alec Jeffreys, who pioneered DNA fingerprinting, and Nicholas Winton, who saved many Jewish children from the Holocaust.

Family pride was a short lived 1990s British soap opera produced by Central Television which ran for two series in 1991 and 1992. It was written by Mahmood Jamal and Barry Simmer and centred around the lives of three Asian families living in Birmingham. It was produced by Zia Mohyeddin, directed by Henry Foster and Faris Kermani, and first appeared on screen on 30 June 1991. The series was shown in the Midlands region on ITV and nationally on Channel 4. Among the actors to have appeared in the series were Paul Henry, Rula Lenska and Zia Mohyeddin.

The Pride of the Family was a half-hour situation comedy starring Paul Hartman, Fay Wray, Natalie Wood, and Robert Hyatt, which aired for forty episodes on ABC in the 1953–1954 season. Hartman portrays Albie Morrison, the father and error-prone head of the household, about whom most of the episodes are centered. Albie works in the advertising section of his local newspaper, and he often has new ideas that go awry in the workplace as well as failed handyman activities at home. Wray, remembered in particularly from her role in the horror film King Kong, plays Albie's wife, Catherine. Natalie Wood is the 15-year-old daughter, Ann, and "Bobby" Hyatt is the 14-year-old son, Junior Morrison. Larry J. Blake appeared fourteen times in the role of "Frank". Hartman's Albie Morrison lacks the good judgment and wisdom exercised by the fictitious insurance agent James Anderson, Sr., the role of Robert Young on the long-running Father Knows Best, which premiered the following season on CBS. Billboard described Hartman's lead role as "average"; indeed the series attempted to present the "average family." Guest stars included Tol Avery, Barbara Billingsley, Douglas Fowley, Frank Ferguson, Lyle Talbot, Steven Terrell, and Joey D. Vieira.
